Ref. SS 428 91 01, EN 61230 The device is for use on the underground's conductor rail and rail.
Line clamp JK 115 is for connection to the base of the underground's 3rd rail.
Insulating poles MGV and operating socket JGS or insulation pole MGV/JGS 110 (page 109) are used to operate the line clamp.
The line clamp conducting parts are made of aluminium and the contact plate of surface treated steel with hardened spikes.
Other steel components are made of stainless steel.
The earthing cable, made of highly flexible ESTPR-insulated copper strands, has sealed cable connections, which prevent humidity from penetrating the cable.
The earthing cable is connected to the clamp with a cable lug and bolted/screw joint.
Earth clamp JK 363 is made of hardened aluminium and equipped with a contact plate made of nickel-plated copper.
Other parts are of stainless steel.
The clamp has an integrated tool for cleaning the base of the rail.
The clamp has a 1/2" connection pin for tightening with e.g. ratchet wrench BV 5217.
The clamps are equipped with stainless steel spring washers, which give a constant contact pressure. Earth clamp JK 363 is connected to the base of the rail, which allows rail vehicles to pass.
