Contact Wire Crossing Hanger HKL-03
For all grooved contact wires from 80 – 150 mm² and for hanger wire cross sections from 10 – 16 mm².
Area of Application
The Kruch Contact Wire Crossing Hanger combines the functions of a regular hanger as well as a contact wire crossing clamp in overhead contact systems. It replaces the currently used heavy weight contact wire crossing rods.

Contact wire crossing and catenary hanger combined in one element. The clamp is fixed to the main contact wire; the crossing contact wire lies on the main contact wire and can slide freely in the clamp. On the contact wire side the hanger wire is fixed using a thimble and a cable lug, on the messenger wire side the hanger wire is fixed with the adjustable hanger clamp HKL-02.
Advantages:
Quick and easy installation, adjustable height, low weight for improved catenary dynamics, normal distance between hangers can be maintained as the crossing is a hanger itself, therefore collisions between hangers and contact wires can be avoided on tracks with very small crossing angles.
