The MX50 is a battery-powered SafeBond^® MAX unit developed for fast, reliable connections of larger cable dimensions – with zero metallurgical impact on the base material. With an automated process and silver-based technology, you achieve consistently low contact resistance and high quality in every connection.

The MX50 is designed to meet the demands of railway, grounding and cathodic protection applications where larger cable cross-sections require high performance without compromising safety or lifespan.

The SafeBond^® MAX technology is based on an indirect arc brazing process using a silver-based material at approximately 650°C, resulting in an extremely strong and conductive bond without affecting the structure of the base material. The result is a long-term, corrosion-resistant connection with very low contact resistance.

The fully automated process simplifies installation: the operator activates the equipment and the system ensures the correct energy level and a perfect result every time. This minimizes handling errors and ensures repeatable quality in the field.
