Operating pole MGV/JGS 100 is used as an insulating pole when earthing the current bar the 3rd rail in the underground network. Equipped with a fixed operation socket. The insulating pole is fitted with a hand guard that marks where the hand grip section ends and the insulating section starts. This hand guard must not be exceeded when in use. The insulating pole is sealed to prevent humidity penetrating. The insulating pole is made of yellow, fiberglass reinforced polyvinyl ester and has an outside diameter of 43 mm. The operation socket is made of aluminium. The lower end is fitted with a grip rubber and protective cap made of rubber.
