TRIMMING UNIT TYPE U-L-RK

Model U-L-RK is specially developed for shearing off excess weld metal on crane, grooved and fl at bottom rails. Therefore the device is to be used universally.

Depending on the rail type, exchangeable down holder guides have to be inserted:

• VK for flat bottom rails and Crane rails (extra down holder guide type A150 required)
• R for grooved rails (except profile Ph37a; here, down holder guide type Ph37a is necessary)
• The associated stop elements – specified for the rail profile which will be sheared off – ensure a low cutting height and the guides are prevented from twisting during the shearing operation for all types of rail profiles.

The compressive force is 200 kN maximum.

Shear blade form A cannot be used for shearing unit type U-L-RK. For flat bottom and crane rails, shear blade form B is available; with grooved rails, the adjustable shear blade form C has to be used.
