KRAB S-Light – Track Geometry Measuring Trolley
KRAB S-Light is a modern and lightweight track geometry measuring trolley designed for accurate measurement of key railway track parameters. The system is developed for fast inspection and analysis directly in the field.
Thanks to its compact design, the trolley can easily be handled by a single operator and quickly placed on the track. KRAB S-Light is used by railway contractors, infrastructure companies, and technical inspectors to monitor and evaluate track conditions.
What KRAB S-Light Measures
The measuring trolley records several important track geometry parameters:
Track Gauge
Measures the distance between the rails to ensure the correct track dimension.
Cant (Superelevation)
Measures the height difference between the left and right rail.
Twist
Detects torsion and irregularities in the track.
Horizontal Alignment
Checks the lateral direction and alignment of the track.
Vertical Alignment
Measures vertical variations and unevenness in the track.
These measurements allow quick detection of track geometry deviations and help plan maintenance activities.
