Rope-operated Insulating Extension Ladder
For live working below 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC
This rope-operated insulating extension ladder is designed for live working on electrical installations below 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC, meeting the requirements of EN 131-1, EN 131-2 and EN 50528.
The ladder is equipped with an automatically engaging aluminium double-safety rung lock, ensuring secure and stable positioning during use. Smooth and controlled extension is achieved through nylon-coated low-friction guides, while standard wall wheels facilitate handling and protect the ladder surface during extension.
The ribbed, anti-slip aluminium rungs feature a tri-oval profile and are inclined to provide a natural, horizontal foot position. An anatomical rung spacing of 250 mm allows knee support, improving both safety and comfort during prolonged work at height.
Stability is further enhanced by anti-slip rubber feet and a Ø 10 mm extension rope with a breaking strength of 1800 daN.
The uprights are manufactured from fibreglass/polyester composite material, offering high mechanical performance, excellent insulation properties, low weight and resistance to rot. A fibreglass surface finish improves durability and UV resistance, ensuring long service life in demanding outdoor environments.
An optional V-shaped pole support with anti-slip rubber profile is available for increased stability when required.
