Track Circuit Operating Device for Railways

The TCOD is a maintenance-free rail short-circuit connection, designed to simulate the presence of a train within the track circuit. It can be used both temporarily or permanently, and is permanently approved by Network Rail (UK).

SafeGrip™ TCOD is based on a proven design made of specially hardened Swedish spring steel, providing constant and high contact pressure between the clamp and the rail. The self-cutting contact screw ensures a reliable electrical connection with low transition resistance – even under cold, humid, or vibrating conditions.
