Brazing Pins for Cathodic Protection Systems (CP)
The brazing pins are the core brazing material in the PinBrazing process and are used to create strong, electrically reliable, and corrosion-resistant connections in cathodic protection systems — for example on pipelines, tanks, steel structures, and grounding installations. Safetrack’s brazing pins are used without a fuse wire when working with our patented electronic or digital PinBrazing equipment, or with a fuse wire when operating older types of equipment that do not include Safetrack’s patented energy regulation system.
Each brazing pin is designed to deliver a consistent, safe, and repeatable brazing result, regardless of environmental conditions.
Since 1988, Safetrack has been manufacturing brazing pins — both with and without fuse wires — in our own facility, following ISO 9001-certified production standards.
The brazing pins are used together with a ceramic ferrule and a specially designed cable lug or bond to achieve optimal electrical and mechanical contact in cathodic protection applications.
