Safetrack special range of aluminium grounding rail bonds and connectors are designed with a unique high torque aluminium cable lug that allows a torque moment of 80Nm.
This is 60% higher torque than standard aluminium cable lugs and therefore withstands the vibrations in the rail on a much higher level.

The Star Bonds are made of a flexible railway grounding cable that also can be used as grounding connection resistant to short-circuit current, for potential equalisation between rails and other conductive parts not under voltage.

Especially suitable where high flexibility and a low bending radius are required.

STAR Bonds consists of:

Aluminium High Torque Terminals:

• Tin plated surface to assure a good corrosion resistance
• Two stud holes available; M12 and M16
• Torque moment tested at 80 Nm ensuring a perfect installation even with high vibration levels.
• Short circuit current (75 mm² = 25 kA 100 ms) (110 mm² = 40 kA 100 ms)
