Tracked Rail Excavators
The 85RR (10 tons) and 145RR (20 tons) are versatile crawler excavators equipped with hydraulically driven rail wheels, adaptable for metre gauge, standard gauge, and tram tracks with a simple wheel change. Their compact design and short tail swing allow operation in tight spaces without compromising stability.
The hydraulic four-wheel drive provides excellent grip during acceleration and braking, with speeds up to 20 km/h and slopes of 60‰ or more. The front pendulum axle can be controlled automatically or manually to ensure maximum stability in all conditions.
All rail undercarriage functions are easily managed via an integrated display showing the status of rail wheels, the RCI system, and optional cameras. An internet module allows remote service, software updates, and monitoring from anywhere. The undercarriage is built according to EN 15746 and assembled in compliance with national regulations, ensuring high reliability and long service intervals.
